Things to do in Glenwood Springs this Holiday Season

Aside from the attractions you know and love such as the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool and the Caverns and Adventure Park, there is always tons to do in Glenwood Springs! Take a look at just a few things off the beaten path going on this holiday season:

Monday Jazz Nights at the Hotel Colorado
Featuring musicians from all over the Valley, the Hotel Colorado is hosting Monday night jazz jam sessions. Sessions are free to attend each Monday from 7-9:30pm. Musicians of all ages and levels are welcome to hone their skills and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow musicians. So treat yourself this season to something off the beaten path, you are likely to be delighted!

Open Mic Nite at Rivers
Not only is this fantastic entertainment, it’s also $1 taco night! Go hang with the local and enjoy some music and great fare at Rivers. No cover, Wednesdays, 8-10pm.

Storytelling Mondays at the Cardiff Schoolhouse
Join well-known raconteur, Jack Green, as he shares his storytelling techniques. Arrive at 6:30pm with the bell ringing at 7pm – Mondays. Admission: $7.17 (more or less) or a pair of eye glasses with the lens to be donated to the Lions Club

Holiday Exhibit: Winterfest at the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts

Christmas Peace Concerts by the Mountain Madrigals
The Mountain Madrigal Singers present their 34th concert season this year.  “Christmas Peace” offers a wide variety of music ranging from traditional to contemporary and heartwarming to hilarious. All concerts are free to the public and free babysitting is provided.
2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, Sunday, Dec. 14, and Friday, Dec. 19
